Women in Politics and Changing Perceptions

Women in Politics

At the end of 2008, according to recent surveys conducted by Polling Center, the majority of the voting public in urban as well as rural areas, still perceive themselves to be insufficiently informed regarding the 2009 General Elections. However, their present attitude is less of a ‘let’s look for more information on the 2009 general elections’ but more of a ‘wait-and-see’ attitude. “Sorry, I’m on diet.”

What is wrong between the Internet and dietary? I’ve got it! She meant the Internet a breakfast with instant noodle garnished with poached egg and corned beef! Many women lately leave out their breakfasts for the sake of their diet ― just like my friend Dewi did. It is a big mistake, considering breakfast is an important start of the day for us; we need energy and calories for activity. If we intentionally missed a breakfast, that condition would affect a loss of energy; and when time for lunch came we would be greedily eating up a whole portion of doubled-breakfast meal. more »
