Instant Noodles are Fattening?
“Dewi, let’s get the Internet!”
“Sorry, I’m on diet.”
What is wrong between the Internet and dietary? I’ve got it! She meant the Internet a breakfast with instant noodle garnished with poached egg and corned beef! Many women lately leave out their breakfasts for the sake of their diet ― just like my friend Dewi did. It is a big mistake, considering breakfast is an important start of the day for us; we need energy and calories for activity. If we intentionally missed a breakfast, that condition would affect a loss of energy; and when time for lunch came we would be greedily eating up a whole portion of doubled-breakfast meal.
Susan, again another friend, completely refuses noodle let alone instant noodle. For her, instant noodle puts on our weight quickly, as quick as a car on a freeway. But Anie is against the grain! She can take whatever dinner could be, unless before 18.00. She eats three times a day ― of a good portion of course.
Talking about instant noodle, is it true that this stuff can make us putting on weight? My neighbor is crazy over instant noodle, but she is just looking good! Are you curious about consumers’ behavior to the noodle? Here, I have reserved some data for you from Polling Center, one of Indonesia’s outstanding social and market research institutions:
A major part of urban people loves fried chicken flavor better (29.24%) followed by chicken onion flavor (16.28%), and then 16.28% is for “soto” (Indonesian meat soup or stew) flavor. 53.79% of the total respondents are found consuming instant noodle 2-3 times a week. The majority respondents (85.75%) are taking up, on average, more than one pack of instant noodle per use. The remaining 14.26% can empty more than one pack for once consumption. Nearly one third of the consumers are enjoying instant noodle as breakfast, on the other count, most of them are whiling away their pastime (53.79%) and during TV hours (38.10%) with instant noodle.
From the above data, where do you reckon yourself belong to?(eky)
